Overview
Having worked with the Eden Project for many years we project managed the construction of the rainforest biome’s canopy walkway experience.
Opened to visitors during the summer 2013, the walkway now provides Europe’s leading rainforest education resource – a learning experience inside the biome that includes a base camp, two bridges, a shelter and elevated canopy paths.
The project was a major undertaking in tropical conditions. However, the rainforest biome remained open during the construction period, with the visitor experience unimpeded.
The walkway was delivered on time and in budget, fulfilling the Eden team’s creative vision and ambitions and providing another excellent educational asset.
