Roselyon School is situated in the idyllic village of Lanlivery. We Are Ease were tasked to transform this once derelict building into a fully functional school in the short space of 6 months. Due to the age of the building we appointed a specialist trade contractor to remove all asbestos within the building. Once the school had been cleared of all asbestos and decontaminated the reconfiguration works of the internal suites could begin. To improve the structural integrity of the building some block work walls were removed and replaced with supporting steel beams. Renewable Mechanical and electrical provisions were installed throughout to lower the running costs for the client. We achieved this by recommending energy saving solutions such as an air source heat pump and LED lighting. Although the finishes were kept very simplistic, they suited the needs of the school perfectly.
